I wanted to take a few moments and post a quick update. Things are going well right now. The past few days have been filled with many highs and lows, peaks and valleys, good times and bad times.
The surgery itself was a resounding success. The gremlin was removed. I've heard rumors that it fought quit a bit. In the end, the Gremlin was no match for the iron grip of Dr. Reid Lombardo as it tried to slip away.
With a surgery that could have lasted 16 hours, I am fortunate to have only been under for 6 hours. Just about everything that could have gone right with the surgery went in my favor.
I'll post more later. For now, know that I'm doing well and am looking forward to returning home soon.
